Rebecca Stern

Director | Producer

Rebecca Stern is a documentary director, producer, and impact producer. She is the producer of Tre| Maison | Dasan, a feature documentary exploring the lives of children affected by parental incarceration. She was the associate producer of “the bomb,” an innovative installation and film experience which premiered as the Closing Night Event of the 2016 Tribeca Film Festival. Her previous work includes the Academy Award nominated documentary CARTEL LAND. She was a staff member of Picture Motion for 2 years, the leading film impact firm, managing film marketing campaigns for acclaimed documentaries including FOOD CHAINS (2016 BritDoc Impact Award). WELL GROOMED adapts this short, and is her first documentary feature.

JUSTIN LEVY 

Producer

Justin Levy is a documentary film producer. He is the co-producer of SUPERGIRL, an independent feature documentary. SUPERGIRL is being released worldwide by FilmRise, will broadcast on PBS Independent Lens, and has played at film festivals including the Hamptons International Film Fest, DOC NYC and Slamdance. He is the associate producer of SACRED, a feature documentary by Academy Award-winning director Thomas Lennon that premiered at Tokyo International Film Fest and IDFA, will be broadcast on PBS and was released theatrically. He is also collaborating with Lennon on a new documentary, KNIFE SKILLS, currently in post- production. He worked with director Marshall Curry on his latest film, POINT AND SHOOT, awarded Grand Jury Prize for Best Documentary at Tribeca. He directed the short documentary PIZZA KING for Vice, which has received nearly 3 million views online. Before working in film, he worked as a public radio producer at NPR-affiliate stations for 6 years.

Matthew Mills 

Producer

Matthew C. Mills is an Emmy and Webby Award-winning Director, Writer and Executive Producer. He founded Spacestation in 2007 after many years at MTV and VH1 as a production and development executive. Matthew’s diverse range of credits include features, commercials, television and web series. Highlights include FOR FLINT (Tribeca 2017), WE ALWAYS LIE TO STRANGERS (SXSW 2013), “MTV Unplugged,” “This Is A Show For Parents of Gay Kids,” “The World Series of Video Games” and “Fodder,” a sketch comedy show for the Cooking Channel. Clients and partners include HBO, PBS, MTV, and CBS.
